An Article On Scotty... The Famous Docking Manager

Many station residents and capsuleers alike know the famous and somewhat infamous “Scotty.” Now you might be wondering, how I knew the docking manager at your station is named Scotty. Well reader, you may be surprised by the answer.
In YC 78, a young Docking Manager, Scotty Kirk, was doing a routine undocking procedure when the station was attacked by a group of terrorists. The perpetrators broke into the capsuleer cloning facility that was just reviving the clone of a prominent capsuleer and took him hostage. Being his only clone, the termination of it would be devastating as there was no scanning interface to save his memories. Scotty
decided to rush the terrorists with a type 3 tritanium carbonate phototrophic analyzer in order to save the capsuleer. He beat to unconsciousness two of the assailants before being shot, causing a coma. The remaining terrorist was overcome by doctors and nurses being held in the facility.
The capsuleer was so moved that he commissioned a cloning contract to be set up to revive Scotty. After waking up, Scotty began to show signs of increased cognitive function. Apparently, Scotty has/had a special gene that when cloned mutated the clone’s abilities. Realizing this was a breakthrough and a great business opportunity, the capsuleer contracted the use of Scotty as a docking manager for all stations until YC 156. Later on, station managers began receiving Scotties who had worse cognitive function than the original, thanks to the mutation. Unfortunately, they were stuck with them due to the contract. The original Scotty passed away a few days ago, living on an undisclosed planet which he bought with his 5% of the money. His DNA is also at an undisclosed location where to this day, still produces Scotties.
So next time you experience delays, or quicker docking then you expected, know that Scotty, or should I say his improved/defective clones, are running it all, from behind the scenes.
